Austrian writer supports Balines children

The Austrian author of a recently published thriller novel set in Bali has donated the proceeds of an auction of copy th book held at a night club in Vienna to a Lovina based children's charity.
Author Willi Benbkovics penned the thriller "SCHAECHER" which relates a story about criminal activities in Bali. Crisis Care Bali, which was established by Gloria Goodwin, to care for abused children. Many of the children at the centre had been sold by relatives to criminal elements who forced them into prostitution.

Mr Benkovics has used the das case of the children and how they escaped from their abusers and arrived at the centre in his book. The book is inm German language and uses fictional names and locations. The owner of the Vienna nightclub where the book auction was held, Mr Leopod Tapler, who was also the successful bidder for the book accompanied Mr Benkovics to Bali and traveled to Lovina for the presentation.
Both Mr Benkovics and Mr Tapler said that they were very impressed with the work of Miss Goodwin at her crisis centre and were happy to offer support.
Mr Benbkovics is also a prominent artist in Europe and his work will be featured in the next art column to appear in the next issue of Bali Sun.
